Jogging helps to lose weight?

does jogging helps to lose weight? if it does how long must i run? how many kilometres?how many times a week?
Answer:
You should jog for at least 20 minutes a day at a decent speed, probably about 3-5x a week. The more, the better. I just learned something about this in Biology class--apparently, your body doesn't start to access fat molecules for energy until after about 20 minutes of activity. Just exercise and make sure you watch what you eat and you will lose weight eventually.
