Is weighing 60 LBS. too much for a 7 year old??

Answer:
No. That is within a healthy weight range. But the important thing isn't the weight, it is whether the child is healthy and active.
No! absolutely not. My little sister who is seven weights about 70 pounds(or more).
Age and weight really don't have anything to do with each other. You need to base it more on her height.
no. thats how much i weighed when i was 7 and the doctor said it was a normal weight
No. That's a healthy weight for a 7 year old.
Male or female? how tall? Can he or she run up and down a flight of ten stairs without getting winded? What does the doctor say? I think that what's really more important is how you discuss health with the child. I learned from my own daughter that because they are probably already aware that they weigh more than their friends because kids are mean and point it out every day, they are probably going to be hypersensitive to whatever you say. It may be best to say nothing at all, except-" hey, let's go to the skating rink every Saturday! We'll start a new tradition!" and "Let's have fruit instead of french fries! I'm tired of french fries!"
no!!!!!!! I am surprised your 7 yr old does not weigh more.
