Jelly belly,help?

I`ve started eating healthy to lose weight and i`ve dropped a dress size but still have a spare tyre and jelly belly, what exercises will help,is it only sit ups?I can only ever manage about 10 before i`m ready to pass out with the pain!and i cant even do them properly!!
Answer:
Sit up won't do anything, you need to lower your body fat levels.Get your body-fat levels measured. You can buy handheld devices or scales that will do this for you, or most supermarket scales now check body-fat.To lose body-fat exercise regularly and start calorie counting. Work out your BMR and try to eat about 500 calories a day less than this.Running is one of the best ways to lose weight, cycling, swimming, rowing are also very good.Don't try to lose weight too quickly, 2 pounds a week maximum. As for abs exercises, crunches are a waste of time, they exercise your hips primarily, and your abs only slightly. Sprinting and fast swimming are excellent for working out your abs because your abs have to work hard to stop your torso from rotating (exactly what they are designed to do). If you don't believe me try it, do 5 x 100 metre sprints while holding your abs in.
Yeah I hate sit-ups. You need to invest in an ab lounge. Your able to do your sit-ups(works the upper stomach) and crunches(works the lower stomach) a lot more comfortably. And it's also easier to work on your obliques(sides of your stomach). They usually run from $150-200.
Well, I lost about 40 pounds of doing crunches. But it took me like 6 months. I also exercise about 1 hour 15 minutes each day and drink lots of water and am on a diet plan. Well, I suggest do about 100 crunches to start out. Also, drink lots of water and stay away from sweets, soft drinks. Eat a lot of lean meat, yogurt and green beans. Also for breakfast, make eggs with cheese. That helps your metabolism speed up. (You can also have one day a week that you can pig out, not too much though, and then after that, start on your diet and exercise again!)
