Loosing weight! i got fat!?

Im 5'10 200lbs. i used to run alot and lift weight and i got an office job and stopped working out so ive gained like 20 lbs. Im trying to get back in shape, what is a good diet and work out plan? currently i joined a basketball team and play mon wed and fri and on tue and thursdays i do 30 min on the elyptical and 1 mile jogging on the treadmill. im trying to cut fat and later i will start lifting weights again. what do you think?

There is no magic weight-loss pill, supplement, fad diet, or juice. The ONLY way to lose weight is to consume less calories than you burn. Weight Watchers. It's a bit expensive for the plan, but it really works. It's a healthy weight loss, so it ends up being more of a lifestyle change. So far I've lost 8.6 pounds in 4 weeks just by changing my diet. You have to be patient though. One can't lose weight healthily overnight!
What kind of food do u eat?
Damn, if you're not losing weight after all that, it ain't gonna happen. You should just give up and take up sumo wrestling. Make the fat work for you.
I think you are on the right path. Keep it up thats what you should be doing. (staying active with the things that interest you)
I'm 5'10" also but I got up to 275 before I decided to make my change. I lost 30lbs in two months so I'm on my way back down. I want to be between 205 and 210.
Anyway just cut down on fats,shrink food portion sizes and increase the metabolism. That's basically the way you do it. Keep up the good work and good luck.

to lose weight sleep an half an hour less than your normal sleeping time.. do this for two weeks and again reduce your sleep by 15 min..
