my friend is staying at my house for a few months.she moved last year and i havn't seen her sense. since then she has lost alot of weight. she used to be 163 lbs so she was kinda big now she only weighs 94 lbs. she is also 5 ft 8in.i saw her last night making her food for the next day. she had a calculator and measuring cupz and a scale. she measured the food and stood on the scale and then did something on the calculator. later i looked at everything. She had measured 1/10 of a cerial bar, 1/4 of a rice cake and 1 table spoon of raisons. she also hid all the food in the back of the pantry. i looked at the paper and i realized that everytime she measured the food and got on the scale she was seeing how much that amount of food would change her weight. all of the food totaled only 50 calories and 1 gram of fat. this is all she would eat for breakfast nad lunch. at diner she always cut her food into pieces and only ate 1 or 2 of them like 1 inch big. does she have an eating disorder?
Answer:
Yes, it sounds like she does. She needs the help of a doctor and counselor to help her through this.
Ugh....yeah
i'm gonna have to go into the mystery van for this one...
Yes she does.
yes, it is not healthy! She has a real problem, you need to talk to her ASAP
of course she does! you need to talk to her and try to get her to get help and you need to do it fast hun
i think she's taking calorie counting to a whole new level... and it's leading to an obsession, this can affect her physical health as she might not be getting all the vitamins and such she needs, and it can affect her mental health, she is liable to hit rock bottom with anoriexia or bulimia if she thinks her diet isn't working fast enoughyou may need to talk to her or talk to a doctor for advice
Definately not healthy. Try sitting her down and talking to her about it.
