Is this the average weigth of a 12 year old female?

well im 5 foot and i weight about 80-83 pounds. is this good or bad?

That is sad... I hope you learn quickly, that what poeple find attractive often changes.
Mostly, your looks can only get you so far, after that your social stigmatism will lead you around by the nose the rest of your life.
Live your life the way you want to, not the way you feel you have to.
The greatest people can step beyond social stereotypes and people respect them for being a real human being, not an empty shell that fits in with what is considered acceptable by society.

i'd say that you are at a healthy weight for your age but it wouldn't hurt you to gain some weight either. because if you stay that same weight and you get older people will tell you that you are underweight so i don't think it will hurt you to gain about 10lbs. but you should probably consult your doctor first.
How do YOU feel about your height/weight?Do you eat a variety of fruits, veggies, grains, and proteins? Do you treat yourself once in awhile? Are you active? Can you run a couple flights of stairs without getting winded? Do you have down time?I hate to break this to you, since you seem to be pretty into the numbers, but weight to height ratios and averages don't give you the whole story of health. It's a matter of FITness, not FATness (or thinness).True health is about balance - emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual. Do you have it?
